He stands upon a wall
Guarded by mist and shadow
Pledged to earth and meadow
And he dare not fall
Oh no, he dare not fall
Into the open deep
Of the ocean’s thrall
Where he would seek
And follow the call
Of one not so weak
Pale moonlight falls
Around the keep and walls
Where he stands tall
And promises not to fall
Oh no, never must he fall
