Beautiful Day! Day -0-

The countdown has begun! Woo hoo! Tomorrow morning when I get up, I will write until I get my pages done. I'm getting ready to do some prep work for the morning before I hit the hay. Basically I'm going to create a mental picture of what I want to write in the morning. I'm very serious about this project. And I love it. Really, really love it. I never thought I would love a project more than I loved "Kiss from the Rose" but I do. This project from its inception last November has undergone so many different renditions from the beginning. This story has been a chameleon, hence the song playing on the blog radio. Chameleon Boy by Blue October.

My picture today is to remind to make sure I smell the roses. I need reminders to slow down, take my time, and think. I have a bad habit of going a hundred miles per hour until I slam into a wall. I'm changing habits this time around and I'm trying to develop good habits. Good writing habits that I can really do. Also, no negative self talk. No listening to that nasty little devil on my shoulder who always tries to talk me out of doing what I'm meant to do. Not this time buddy, I've got your number.

We had a glorious day here. I've totally turned off the air and opened all the windows in the house. I'm almost afraid to say that we may actually be getting some rain come mid-week but I don't want to be too hopeful.

Cleaned the kitchen today, and did all my school work for my daughter, and had a very relaxing day. The last relaxing day until January. *grin*
