Writing Update

Well, I couldn't take anymore and I have begun writing on the first chapter/quasi section. Believe it or not but I like it. It has all of the things I need but perhaps a bit more description is required but it sets the scene and what my heroine is dealing with or has been dealing with her entire life.

And most importantly it shows the normal world, before the journey begins. Which in my opinion is important. Because you need to know where you are before you know where you can end up. But the time is through I will have hit my 2000 words which is my goal. If I do this right I'll end up at roughly 90,000 words for this story or close to 100,000. Which is a big book. Maybe it won't be that big but right now it should hit about 90,000 God willing and the creek doesn't rise.

I'm done plotting through section 32. I have a total of 72 to go if I stick to the plan even though I only have one view point character. I realized tonight that writing this way is so easy for me. The words flow, and I know where I am going and what needs to happen and what needs to be shown.

Pleased.

Writing the first chapter to Numb by Lincoln Park. It fits perfectly.

I'm going to be adding my favorite music to write this story to over in the side bar sometime in the next few weeks.

Happy writing people!

I think you are right. I may be throwing too many issues in my book...LOL

I'm definately not writing a simpering female lead character here, but hearts will bleed for her. Oh, yes. They will bleed.

250 is a much better number though the more I think about it.
