Hello Again

Well, it has been a long time since I have posted to my blog. My poor, poor neglected blog. I have been extremely busy. I've been working on my blocks. Lot's of hard work. Hard decisions. What to keep and what to throw away.

My laptop died last week, which in some ways was a horrid catastrophe. Half of my blocks were on the blasted thing and now I cannot even access those files. I had them saved to my "jump drive" but I'm afraid to plug that into my main computer for fear that the files there have been corrupted. This is not that bad though really. The story is completely in my head. Each major turning point in this book. Each character's goals and dark moments. They each have one. They are all interwoven.

However, now the re-typing begins, or perhaps I'll just use my hand written notes.

I went to my parents for Easter. It was wonderful. The azalea's are just beginning to bloom. Such bright pink, red, and white faces waiting with great anticipation to pop open and show themselves to the world. Everything is so green and beautiful. I miss Charleston some days. It rained on my way back. It took five hours of slow driving to get back home through pouring down rain and fitful winds.

Thoughts floated through my mind like bricks.

Tomorrow is another day however, and I will survive this storm. My poor daffodils may not. Poor things they look beaten down by this weather. Storm clouds on the horizon, hopefully we will have some sunny days this week. I am looking forward to them.
