From the pain and fear
away from the normalcy
of a summer's day.
Lift me up in wings spun of gold
Wrap strong arms around me
Lower seductive lips
so that I can feel your whisper
upon my skin
Take me up and away
far from the madness below
I don't belong here anymore
Show me the heavens on a starry night
take me to fields of green
Hold me close to your heart
Never let me go...
Walk with me in the hallway of dreams
where the clouds descend and wrap
us in a cloak of smoke
Promise me now
that you'll take me away
