I must stop sitting on my leg while I type at this darned computer

I swear I'm never going to get the feeling back in my leg if I don't quit sitting on the darn thing. Yeesh...I don't even realize I'm doing it until I have no feeling left in my poor little foot. Dummy me. Okay updates for tonight...

Blood: Didn't quite make my writing goal tonight but I had to do some heavy editing so I hit 1234 words. May go back to it once I finish this blog entry if not I'll have to make it up tomorrow to stay on schedule. 1 hour and 15 min's.

Also spent about thirty minutes tweaking the first chapter of Kiss from a Rose, and noted on wip that it needed to be expanded in two different places for setting and tone.

Spent an hour writing in my journal this afternoon in between sales calls: General idea, first blush characters, and possibilities of titles for a mainstream that I'm going to write. 2000 words on this. Had to write all this down because I'm scared to death I'll forget it. Made copies of the journal pages and made a hard copy file for once I complete Blood. This is one I'm going to love to write, but I'm forcing myself to put it aside and finish my other commitment first. Damn over-active imagination.

Read blogs, made a few comments and then this post took about thirty minutes.

All in all not a bad day for writing.

Checked mail tonight: 20 min's total

Music for tonight: Gary Stadler with Stephanie, Fairy Heart Music
(This is fantastic...never heard anything like it)

Mood: Determined

Okay, now for some fun stuff. Went to go see The President's Daughter or First Daughter I cannot remember the title of this movie. Meg's comment: Why didn't they finish the story? I have to say I agree with her. They left it open ended, tried to give it a fairy tale feel. It left me feeling unsatisfied, as if they cut the movie short. I really liked the male lead in this movie though, and I'm not pleased at all with the Mother in the movie. She came across as a selfish moron. Hrmph. So feeling a little disturbed. Chasing liberty had a better ending. I will say that much.

Oh, last weekend went to see "Raise your voice." This is a movie I highly recommend. I love that little Hillary Duff, she has a fantastic stage presence. Meg really loved this movie and if she'd had her way we'd have gone to it again today.

Next week will be Shark Tales! Everyone I have talked to said this movie is hysterical. Must see this, I love snappy dialogue.

Well, that it is for today! Only one more week til Halloween and the big block party. Wooo hooo. Can't wait. Halloween is so much fun. Tomorrow we're carving pumpkins and putting out our spooky "blinking eye lights" that we got from party city last year. They rock!
Hugs,
Michelle
