I've been browsing this morning. I have spent some time at Sur La Lune Fairy Tales which is an awesome website by the way and they have the most wonderful Forum board. I have spent thirty minutes this morning just browsing to my hearts content. I found Jane Yolen's Journal and Holly Blacks. Very interesting reading. I like to read what others are doing. Mostly it is curiosity that makes me wander the pages of google. But it is wonderful all the same.
Yes, Lady Jane, my mind is wide open these days and I find that I am thinking more than I have in the twelve years I spent in school. This is not saying much as I breezed through school enjoying what I liked and complaining about the things I didn't. It always amazed my mother that I would ace English and history and fail miserably in math. Maybe even then I knew that my brain centered more on words. Wonderful words, thought provoking words. Mother and I had a conversation the other day. What I call a mental conversation. She laughed and told me that I had always been a deep thinker. That is the one thing I would never in the past have associated with myself. Then she had the gall to tell me she had years ago thrown away my notebooks, at least four where I pondered the state of my existence. What I wouldn't give to have those back now. That is okay, because I've started my journals again.
Well, I'm off to go get to work,
