Today has been difficult...

Well, all. Here I am again. Today has been difficult for many reasons I shall not list here. The words are flowing, and for that I am thankful. I wrote another poem today. Still trying to get into a character's head. Trying to figure out what makes her tick. I wrote a couple of first person letters, interesting the things you can find from doing such an excercise.

For all that the day was difficult. It was a beautiful day. The sun shone bright, the air clear and crisp. A feat for August. Going home this weekend to check on Dad. He had surgery last week, a minor thing really, but just the same I need to see his face. I miss him, even though I'm only hours away.

Talked to Mother today. She is well and doing good. Have I mentioned that I love my Mother? Well, I do. It's special this thing she and I share.

Anyway, I'm off to do some writing. Hopefully, I'll be productive tonight. I have lots to accomplish and so very little time. That is always the way of it I suppose!
Ciao,
Michelle
