Well, I have been without internet since last Thursday. Of course, as soon as I loaded AOL on my laptop, the man showed up at the door to fix my modem. Isn't that always the way. Thank the heavens I am back online though. However, the last few days have been crazy. Especially for poor Earl. He has a horrible kidney stone that is giving him a fit. So Monday we go so he can have it crushed to smithereens. Poor fella. I feel so bad for him.
School starts on Wednesday, and I really thought I would be looking forward to the start of the new year, but find I am a little nervous. My little one starts a new school. So I am more nervous than she is I think. She will do fine. Her Mother? Now, that remains to be seen.
I have been listening to new music. I love it now that Napster has gone legit. I can browse to my little hearts content for only 9.75 cents per month. You gotta love that. Plus you can buy albums right off the site. I found a new artist whom I know I must have...her name is Aine Minogue. She is all harp music. The first track I listened to was The faerie King. Oh, how it inspired me to write. The others were Los Lonely Boys..."How far is heaven?" I love that title. Then of course, I had to listen to Ray Stevens and "It's me again Margaret." Gawd, I love that song. It never fails to make me smile. Then I ended with a song from Nickel Creek called "Sabra Girl" OH MY LORD!!!! I think I have a new favorite song. This is awesome! That and Robin and Marian. Lovely, lovely, lovely. So thanks to the powers that be that made Napster go legit! I'll gladly give them my 9.75 a month. It's very much worth it.
