I survived

Turkey Day and Black Friday and then Black Monday. Surprising considering my 12 year old daughter decided on Friday we needed to go see what all the hullabaloo was about. She quickly realized that her mother was not the insane woman she thought. Kohl's probably had the best sales and the shortest lines, heck we couldn't even get in Toys R Us. I swear the lines were wrapped double around every aisle. Craziness! We promptly turned around and beat feet to get outta there cause them people looked like they were ready to RUMBLE!!!!

So all in all we were back at the house by six. Did I mention that my daughter made me get up at 3:30 AM in the MORNING???? Those of you who know me well realize what a feat of stupendous proportions this was right? Right. I needed coffee and a lot of it.

This weekend starts my Holiday world wind that happens every year. I'll be traveling for two weekends this month, but not far, just home to see my parents which will be a lot of fun and definitely expensive due to the price of gas. Yeesh. You think people will care if I can't afford gifts? LOL!

Anyway, just an update. I'll be updating word meters and such on my work in progress later in the week. I keep waiting for Sven to come knocking on my door and tell me I'm a no good for nothing, can't even write one page writer wanna be...LOL!

Can you have writers block for three years? Is that possible?

I make a point of avoiding Black Friday at all cost. Thanksgiving is enough of a challenge.
