Ta Da!

Today I had a ta da moment.

It's a rare thing for me to have a ta da moment. I've been working my fingers to the bone for the last week on this and today--can you hear the sigh of relief in my voice--I've finished the block. No not on the project I was working on but on something that I'm so excited about that I'm not saying what it's about but I will say that it is young adult. A middle reader type book. One that I find funny. But better, my daughter finds it funny. (There are those moments in time when your daughter can read something you wrote and laugh and laugh and say...well, mother where is the rest of it that makes you smile)It's hard to keep my daughter's attention and if she likes this story well that is the only mark of approval I need. This story is for her, from a mother to her daughter, that says even though we fuss, no matter what I will always love you. This is for her birthday, this story. I like that idea. Writing a story for someone I love. A nice thing. A thing that she can keep forever.

So all projects are going back into their file folders until this one is done from start to finish.

I've already completed the first two chapters. This book is going to fly. I can feel it in ze ole bones.
