Speaking of sleep

Well, I think I've caught up on my quoto of sleep in the last two days. I went to bed early last night, and then took a massive nap this afternoon, which by the way was heavenly. I love naps. Especially in the afternoon when the sun shines in through the window. It's almost like cheating the night. *Grin* and I love cheating to begin with...

I went to the library yesterday and picked up some heavy duty reading material.
I got Blood Red, some histrical non fiction on the 1300 and 1400's. Then I'm going to the main library tomorrow for some serious research.

Not to mention I have to finish this little book I'm writing. I'm going to lock myself in my bedroom, far away from the internet and write, write, write.

So, I'm here and reading and absorbing and listening to incredible music!
Hugs,
Michelle
who is still not quite awake from her nap yet.

Do you write by hand or do you type when you're writing something?

Sister Sunshine,
It depends on what I'm writing. Poetry I must write by hand. I need the sound of the pencil or pen scratching on paper. But when writing something longer, I use the computer because it's the only way my fingers can keep up with my brain and I get frustrated. I get frustrated a lot sometimes!

What kind of music do I listen to?
Ah, what a wonderful question...Mind wrenching, soul gripping, turn you around, foot stomping, hurt your brain kind of music.

But truly, it depends upon my mood. At the moment, its Rock. Undiluted 1970's rock. Southern rock. CCR, 3 Dog Night (Sir W's fault)...

Then I switch to...classical...
Piano for its thought provoking qualities and serene sounds.

And then when I need a kick it's: Yaz, The Cure, Pink Floyd, Silverchair, Creed, Nickleback, Switchfoot, Sevendust, Heart, and Hoobastank

Hope that answers the question! Grin!
